Aunt Mickey and I were once talking about her work in a nursing home (I think it was when she and Aunt Dorothy visited here in Chicago). I said how difficult that must be for her (to care for the elderly). Mickey said that she concentrated on how lucky these elderly people were to be cared for! She was such a positive, happy person!
I know that Aunt Mickey is alive today because she is loved and cared for. I think of the happy spirit she was. I am so very grateful that Mom and I were able to spend those two special weeks together. I miss them both so much. Thank you again for inviting us to visit. Love, Cherryl
